Dwayne Bowe - WR - Chiefs
The Kansas City Star does not expect the Chiefs to offer impending free agent Dwayne Bowe a long-term deal.
Bowe played out the 2012 season on a one-year, $9.5 million franchise tender. He's expected to hit the open market as perhaps the best wideout available. In six seasons, he's averaged 4.7 catches for 65.0 yards and scored 39 touchdowns -- putting him in the conversation for the greatest Chiefs wideout of all time. Bowe will turn 29 in September.

Bowe is from florida to he might want to come home

I'd be pitching max offers to Bowe and Wallace, decent pitch to Jennings.

Also, I'd be taking a look at Finley.

I say Sign finnely and try your hardest to get Wallace with bowe as a back up plan. Then draft a reciver in the first three rounds

For the right price if he's the best available. Then draft a WR BEFORE the 5th or 6th round.....

I am in favor of overpaying for a top end WR, it's like an investment in Tannehill

I want to keep reggie too and actually use him correctly...are we planning on keeping any of our WRs with your plan :)

Throw Bowe a standard offer. Test his desire to come home and see if you can save a couple mil. He's not Wallace, who IMO is our very best hope at WR.

I still draft a WR in the 2nd/3rd round this year if we land either of them.

Kansas City wasted too many years of Bowe's life. He is almost 30 already? Saying all of that, I would take him in a heart beat.

Go get him....he will come cheaper than Wallace and is better than Jennings.

Something wrong with these numbers. Are these avg per game (which wouldnt make sense because no WR scores 39 TD's per game), cant be avg per season.

Honestly if we can snatch either Wallace or Bowe, I see no need to draft a WR this year. Pending we bring Hartline back.

We would have Wallace/Bowe, Hartline, Bess, Mathews, Moore, Fuller, Binns.

Probably break it down to Wallace/Bowe, Hartline, Bess, Matthews, Fuller

Assuming we bring back Starks, Smith, Fasano and Reggie. This would allow us to draft BPA at DE/CB 1st round, DE/CB 2nd round (whatever we didin't get in the 1st round), G/T (BPA) with another 2nd.

Not sure about Bowe. He lost the Chiefs that Ravens game, kept bouncing passes to the Ravens defenders for picks.

I wouldn't offer Bowe a max since he is 29. The max offer should be to Wallace. Finley would be a nice addition, his familiarity with Philbin will help us stretch the field. I do believe drafting a WR at 12-17 would be ideal for the first round. Justin Hunter or Keenan Allen would fit nicely with the additions of a burner like Wallace.

Bowe would not be a good fit here in a WCO. He also doesnt fit the Philbin profile. I doubt we even make him an offer.
