Updating a previous report, the Denver Broncos released a statement regarding the medical condition of OL Dwayne Carswell (internal), who was involved in a serious automobile accident on his way to the team facility Thursday morning, Oct. 27. "Dwayne suffered a contusion of his entire left internal cavity, multiple rib fractures, a ruptured diaphragm and a ruptured spleen. Doctors at Aurora South Medical Center performed surgery, removing his spleen and repairing the internal organ damage. His prognosis is 'very good,' and he is in 'critical but stable' condition. Dwayne is in the Intensive Care Unit at Aurora South Medical Center at this time."
