has been found of receiveing benefits... i seen it on espn... they said that someone was paying half his rent... now with that being said.. do you think he will enter the supplemental draft if he cant play at USC any more???

I remember hearing something about this before the draft because wasen't him and Leinart living together in like a down town condo in LA? I can't remember, do you have a link for this?
 
I'm not sure the exact cut off date, but I am pretty sure it is too late for him to declare. I think he would have to petition to be allowed in teh supplemental draft at this point.
 
There is no need for Jarrett to apply for the Supplemental Draft. His violation was for extra benefits. All he'll have to do is apply for reinstatement and will become eligible to play at USC this season. It it also very likely that he won't miss any games.
 
I thought I saw Pete Carrol say that he expects him to be reinstated.

There's cut off date for the NFL Draft so I would assume there would be one for the supplemental.
 
I think the problem was he was living with Leinart, and Leinart was paying the full rent, letting Jarrett stay there for free.
 
Leinart and Jarrett stayed in an apartment way out of their price range and each paid only a portion of the rent. Leinart's father made up the difference.

Honestly, I don't think it's that big of a deal, and I hate USC.
 
No big deal, one guys dad paying for it. Its not like it was an outside provider.
