Just for fun how good do you think this duo will be? We have been hearing that Landry has Boldin like upside and I love the kid he has shown he will be great at tough catches. I think in the redzone he is a mismatch even at his height, he will win the inside physically every time and will catch the contested pass. Landry is just getting started and Tannehill already favors him it would seem. he leads the team in targets over the last few games and has 4 TDs in 5 games for 5 TDs overall. So how many TDs do you think this duo will score?

As a baseline Aikman and Irvin had 60, Marino and Clayton had 84 TDs, Young and Rice had 85 TDs, Manning and Harrison had 114 TDs

Do you think this duo will score in that 70-90 TD range? I will say they will score in the 80s

He doesn't have Boldin upside.

Boldin was a outside WR, Landry is a slot. I don't even know if he can play outside.

I think people get really caught up in combine numbers. The thing is he ran a 4.77 and had a 28 inch vertical after pulling his hamstring, he continued to push himself when everyone else would have stopped and for good reason. He has proven all season that his combine results show that he's a tough mided, driven and athletic football player. He clearly is one bad dude to actually sprint a 4.77 with a pulled hamstring. Watching him play the game, he has great upside and will only continue to get better.

Keep ballin Landry and proving those combine scouts wrong every Sunday! It's great seeing a 2nd round pick play great, I'm looking forward to seeing his future development and what that brings.

Very few players have Boldens upside , so I don't expect that out of Landry but to say he can't do x y or z.... I don't think any of us can say he can't or can. Perhaps the only thing he can't do is run a 4.3 40.

To get there Landry would have to average 10 touchdowns a year from Tannehill until Ryan is 34 years old. In case you're wondering, Anquan Boldin has only caught 10 touchdowns or more in a season once in his entire career.

I get what these kinds of threads are actually about but still... what rational person would not take the under?

i see more oj mcduffie than anquan boldin, honestly.

if landry can be to tanne what mcduffie was to marino, the sky is the limit.

still upset mcduffie's career was cut short by injury and bad medical advice (he only got to play 6 full seasons, catching 90 passes and leading the NFL in his last full healthy season).

Not disagreeing with you but I have heard even analysts comparing Landry to Boldin. I'm not sure I buy it for the reason you mentioned above but also Landry needs to add a good 20 lbs of solid muscle to be compared to Boldin. Not to say he isn't as tough as Boldin as well
