All:

At the request of many to tailor my 2006 NFL Schedule to a user's location, I have now updated it for the Eastern, Central, and Mountain time zones as well!

http://www.dslextreme.com/users/madforplaid/nfl_schedule.html

As a reminder, to view a particular team's schedule, click on their helmet image to open up a new browser window displaying their 2006 NFL Schedule. Additionally, I have provided quick reference images/radio buttons below the current team's crest image to view and alternate between each division opponent's schedule.

The week radio buttons are used to display (in a new browser window) the schedule for a given week including all byes and games for each team.

Within all schedules, team as well as week, click on an image to open up a new browser window of that team's official website, NFL.com, or SuperBowl.com respectively.

Regarding any formatting/display issues, I have tailored the website for Microsoft Internet Explorer only since the coding takes such an extensive amount of time. Simply use IE (screen resolution: 1024 by 768 pixels and a standard size monitor) instead of other browsers!!

Enjoy,

sweet yo.. and i've never seen that pic b4 ( the one that links to the official site)

Would this fall under the heading of free advertising?

I live here in Miami, I can't imagine living in California and waking up and watching a Dolphins game @ 10:00 am! That has to be the best!

What, no Hawaii time zone? Where's the love?

What is being advertised? A schedule? Doesn't seem to be advertising to me.

But some input for the OP: You took so much time and effort building that, why make the text so plain jane. It looks like a fax. Not sure if it is my computer but the icon for opposing teams are hiding some of the text. Specifically the Day of the game (Sun, Mon). Just seems it could have something a little better on the text side where the actual schedule is.

But I like the concept.

nice job dude!
Thanks all for the kudos!
As a reminder, this is a quick, accurate NFL schedule reference for all to enjoy especially those with DirecTV!!

Yeah, I've found no website that displays NFL schedules and every bit of information put together in a tidy format like mine. I've built mine to include links to official teams' websites, quick links between teams' schedules in the same division, and most importantly shows all the DirecTV channels as well as byes and the television network that carries each game.

Regarding the flexible schedules this year, once the game/network/channel/time changes are announced in the days leading up to NBC's Sunday night games for the final weeks of the season, I will immediately rerun my code and update the necessary files!

Thanks much for the comments on the team crests/coat of arms; it was totally fun putting all of this together.

Yeah, football on the west coast at 10am on a Sunday is an awesome feeling. It is perfect to have breakfast and football at the same time!

No, I am not advertising anything at all; just trying to be helpful to all NFL fans!
I'll look into changing the text font later this year or prior to next season. Thanks for the input!

Unfortunately no, not at this time for Hawaii/Alaska. The code takes quite a while to write to account for other time zones (especially since NFL.com caters to the Eastern time zone); I originally had only the Pacific time zone, so I have felt the Hawaii fans' pain for years as well!

The ironic thing is that we will be vacationing in Hawaii (the Big Island & Maui) later this month!!

More later,
