Id definately have to agree. Everyone knows the bears biggest weakness is at QB... Mcnabb would definately solve that... their offence would be scary, especially with hester switching over. and to top it off, they ditch a player who doesnt want to play for them anyways...

I guess the big question is... are the eagles comfortable building the offence around Kolb so soon? they sure has heck wont do it with feely
 
A guy in the Philly Inquirer wrote an article that was purely speculative and said he knows someone who thinks it's possible the Eagles could trade McNabb before the 2007 season and then hypothesizes "Hey, the Bears could use a QB and Briggs is disgruntled....Wouldn't it make sense..."

Basically, he made up a trade idea like a lot of people do on message boards. Then all the other idiot media sites link to it "Rumor: McNabb to Bears?"
It has no validity whatsoever.
 
A franchise quarterback straight up for a linebacker (a good one but still)?

The Eagles are FAR too well run an organization to do something this stupid.
 
Briggs is part of a system on a great defense, McNabb is his own system having to do everything.

Would be the dumbest trade in franchise history for the Eagles. Kolb isn't a sure thing.

hmm not that i care if goes down or not cause i am Finz fan...but IMHO if it's straight up the BEARS,get a steal,but the question is what happens to Rex Grossman??
 
Bears would then be the favorites to repeat as NFC Champions. As for Philly, who would Qb them? Feeley?
 
Wow Philly would be mighty stupid.

Id would then have to go with Chicago to win the superbowl if Mcnabb stays healthy.

I wouldn't actually be surprised if the Bears turned this deal down if it ever happened. McNabb has a huge contract, coming off like 40 surgeries, doesn't know our system....mixed with the fact our FO is intent on just letting him hold out, play 6 and then hit FA without us getting anything for him
