According to an ESPN.com report, McNabb might delay talks of a contract extension "until he sees how the Eagles improve themselves in the offseason via free agency and/or trades." The implication was that if the club doesn't meet McNabb's demands for more weapons, he might not seek an extension and, instead, could pursue a trade.

How dod they feel blind sided? That city has hated McNabb sense they announced his name in the Draft. I feel bad for McNabb, look at what he has done for that team to only get booed , and benched. If I were him I would bounce and let their fans and organization really see how bad it could be with Klob trying to get them a win or two.

Blindsided? I doubt that. I also doubt they have any plan to extend his contract, now or in two years when his current deal expires.

McNabb is such a ****ing crybaby ********er. Im tired of his whole act.

Dont like the act either but what do you expect with whats happend to him, people hop on and off the McNabb bandwagon every day. One days they boo him the other day theyre saying hes the best QB..

Alot of that has to do with the fact that some weeks he plays really well and other weeks he blows. Mix in the facts that he takes them to the brink of a title every other year it seems and falls short and ITS PHILADELPHIA and thats just how it is.

Some of the criticism is unjust and some of it is justified. His behavior, ego, and whining also brings alot of the criticism upon him. I dont feel sorry for the guy at all.

Its really been like this since the day he was drafted and the philly fans boo'ed. What can you say, at the time they thought it was a ****ty pick. Nothing wrong with that. Had he and the media not made such a big deal about it, the situation may or may not have evolved into what it is now.

Now he has dip****s like Deion playing the harp for him 24/7 and building up his ego even more while he continues to fall flat on his face in title games. Piss on McNabb.

Hell people boo'ed the Ginn pick, but you dont hear alot of **** about it all the time like we do with this McNabb clown.

I dont think it can all be blamed on him. He has never really had much help other than Westbrooke around him. His best WR came this last season. I'm sorry, but he has done so much with so little.

The Eagles need to develop someone to replace McDrabb. He is a big cry baby. He is not much in terms of leadership. He is inconsistent in his play and he is the first one to throw everyone and anyone under the bus when he under performs. However he is also a good QB and that is not an easily replaced postion. I think the eagles organazation are in the dilema of bitting their tunges and grinning and bearing it, until they find someone that can adequatly replace him. They should of looked to replace him much sooner and looked to trade him away. He is a cancer and his negatives counter act his pluses. He is so frigging arogant that he thinks its a joke that he dosnt even understand the basic rules of his profession. McDrabb is nothing but a joke. Unfortunatly he does have talent in the most difficult postion on the field and it makes it difficult to just cut him. He is one of the biggest cry babies in professional sports.

Well said.

How long have the Eagles been looking for a WR? I think Kevin Kolb may end up like Charlie Whitehurst in terms of a guy whose drafted and never sees the field. Donovon is great. Who cares if he complains?

Good for McNabb.

Make those SOBs pay for all the years of abuse. Make them put you in the best situation you can possibly be in or leave them.

They need you but DON'T know it.

You need a supporting cast and DO know it. Make them do it.

The Pats didn't have any problem winning 3 SB's without a superstar WR. Why do the Eagles need one to win a SB? The answer is they don't, IMO Andy Ried is the reason the Eagles can't win a SB. He alwasy manages to make mistakes when theres a Big game on the line. McNabb isn't a great QB, but he's a very good QB, he's good enough to win a SB if he gets a coach who doesn't piss it away. Andy Reid is so stuck on throwing the ball 70 times a game he forgets how to manage the game, he's just an awful big game coach imo.

I don't believe you need a superstar WR. Pittsburgh doesn't have a player i'd categorize as a superstar WR. Philadelphia does need a better WR core, IMO. Desean Jackson did look promising but did have some knucklehead moments, obviously. Part of the problem is coaching. When Philadelphia tries to run a balanced offense they're a much better team. Some coaches are just good enough to get you to a point and can't get over the hump. Roy Williams was like that before he went to UNC. Even Dungy was like that in TB. Personally I think the message of a coach gets drowned out eventually if they're in the same place too long.
