can i get a link on that? from everything i've heard, some of the kid's best qualities are his attitude, his work ethic, and his desire to be great.

nope! you only get to be the king if you're batting .1000 in the misinformation game. once you get something right, you have to be knocked down to prince, or duke, or something.

i found it. thanks. it's all talk about during his rookie season. hopefully that is all part of the learning curve and in the past.
 
I think its a great move even if he is available for the right price why say so 2 months before the draft. If the eagles really want him price only goes up closer to the draft
 
I didn't read ths whole thread but I can say this........EVERYONE can be traded forthe RIGHT price. What the right price would be is up for discusion but nobody is untouchable. Specially wen you have some many holes. Having said that, I doubt they'd make us a great offer for him but if they did, you have to consider it.

it was also reported that we were shopping him along with Wake and Mike Wallace.....I think the fact that he was coming off injury, a little undersized, and learning a completely new defensive scheme makes a little more sense. but hey, that's just me....you can believe whatever you want.

you realize that part was a joke, right? a mod edited the thread title, because it was just a stupid thread to begin with.
 
hopefully jordan can come up with something other than the ONE move he has for pass rush.

if not, there are going to be a LOT of unhappy jordan worshipers here. he's here, so i hope he does. and anything CAN happen.

but this is the knock on him coming out of college was his pass rush., his sack total wasnt there [yeah, i know, they had him chucking corn dogs and fetching the race track forum for the a/d so he didnt have a lot of time for sacks] but, my wifes family are HARDCORE oregon fans who NEVER miss a game and i was talking to a coupe of them post draft [both are also big time nfl fans and seahawk junkies] and both said, without a blink that he was not going to be the player we need. his pass rush, when sent, was a one hit wonder that worked in college but both said he wasnt going to be a big time nfl player and his limited moves were not goin g to work against nfl o-linemen who can cover every move in the book. and they were wincing after watching him go 3rd overall.

now, its those guys opinion. its also mine after watching him this past year, one move and one move only. will he be able to get coached up enough? its a big, big step.

personally, i think either the eagles didnt offer enough or a jordan trade needs not be public or appearing to be in the works at this time. hickey is not tied to jordan. he ISNT the pass rush hope ireland thought was going to have next to cam wake. yes, anything can happen, but the kid doesnt look like a top flight NFL pass rusher to me, especially at DE. HE IS QUICK OFF THE LINE, BUT, IF YOU DONT HAVE MOVES TO GET BY PRO BOWL TACKLES AND GUARDS, IT DOESNT MATTER. he should be on a 3-4 team at olb.

i think there is something to this. will it happen, who knows, but hickey didnt draft him, probably wouldnt have at 3rd overall and isnt worried about taking the flak. there is a HUGE gamble turning down any decent deal for jordan and if he busts, then the fans will be carving hickey a new one because he should have known and he had offers he turned down. hanging on to a one move, limited DE who should be a OLB in a 3-4 is a HUGE gamble. if i was forced to bet my household money on jordan being star or bust, i would have to bet bust. at least on our team running a 4-3 and leaving him at DE.
 
Bad move IMO. With as many holes as we have everyone should be "available" If we could get a player and a pick for Jordan I am all for it
