Two players including TROTTER ejected half hour before Monday night kickoff for punching, then the team squared off too!

I know this is likely the wrong place for this, but turn on the TV.

It was really nuts dude. The whole teams clashed for the punches exchanged by Kevin Mathis and Jeremiah Trotter.

They keep pretending that Trotter was practically incident, but if you look closely you can see that Trotter started it by getting close to Mathis and talking smack and then he was actually the first one to lift his hand against Mathis....he didn't go for the head but he clearly lifted his hand to push Mathis in the chest and Mathis just reacted quickly with a smack to the helmet, which Trotter retaliated to by grabbing Mathis' face mask and both shovin on each other etc.

But then the oddest thing I've ever seen happened it reminded me of a bunch of animals or gorillas or something beating their chests at each other. There was a second incident where all the sudden dozens of both teams gathered at each other in the middle of the field like pushin on each other without punching and just jumping up and down like a bunch of damn animals.

Yea, it was pretty disgusting, a total lack of professionalism.

This coming from a CANES fan! lol

This will be a rivalry starter for sure. Could be a great game!
I did not see Trotter do anything but grab facemask, but he was 50% of the problem. I don't think they should be ejected...I want to see their anger on the field!!

be interesting to see how tight the refs call things and if the coaches had any effect
I predict much money to be flying around soon. Paul Tagliabue was there and saw it...

typical vick - -what a ****ty passer that guy is -- it's a make or break year for him to step up and becmoe more than an athlete and become a qb

the funniest thing to me is that an official threw a flag in the air at 8:30..... for a 9:00 game... earliest flag in football history?

by the way.... keep a conscious eye out for the "legal" tactics of the Falcons' O-Line.... :yell:
