from what i have seen from this team so far, their strength is in the secondary. I think the best way to attack them would be running right at their DE's.

anyone else care to share their thoughts on what type of personnel/scheme Jacksonville uses?

The best way to attack them is with our defense. Our offense is going to struggle to score even 10 points against this defense, especially without Ronnie.

Do what Indy did to the eagles. Eagles weren't expecting those rushes by Addai and Jags won't know what hit them whem Morris comes into play.

I Believe their defence is a bit on the low side of life right now with all of those injuries we should handle their defence just fine.

I see the no-huddle attack being used early like against Minnesota to set up what running game we can muster. The D is going to have to play great in this one.

I thought their strength was their D-Line, particularly their DTs. This has been their strength in the past and being able to run on them was quite a task. Their secondary took quite a hit with losing Darius too. So, I would think that it's gotten a lot weaker.

I haven't looked at anything from their game with Buffalo yesterday, but I wouldn't have expected them to give up 27 points to the Bills.

Their strength IS their DTs, but if we can fend off the DTs on classic pulling and stretch plays then there will probably be running to be had outside on the defensive perimeter...because their DEs are not a strength and neither are their OLBs.

Donovan Darius' replacement is as athletic as Jason Allen. Expect him to run up hard on perimeter plays. But this makes them susceptible to play-action and, god forbid, trick plays.

Expect Mularkey to whip out the trick plays like whoa, trying to fool some foolable guys in Deon Grant and Gerald Sensabaugh. The unfortunate part is that Stroud and Henderson could easily blow up some of those trick plays, with perhaps dire consequences.

hmmm...that being said...their best DB is on IR (Donovan Darius)...should be room for CC/MB on 'skinny-posts', and WW/DH with 'drags' and 'crosses'... RMCM should also have some room to move..

I think Rashean Mathis is their best DB.

they are good but banged up, just throw away from Mathis and you can pass on them. they are too inconsistent, at home they play good but away they play horrible. goes for the whole team.

Their other normal starting corner was out last vs. Buffalo as well. Brian Williams I think is his name, anyone know if he's coming back vs. us?

Severly banged up is the word of the day.....
MLB Mike peterson IR
S Donovan Darius IR
DE Reggie Hayward IR

(Comparativly it's like us playing without Zach, JT and Bell..)

CB Brian williams was injured so freshmen Dee webb started for him. Webb struggled so he was replaced by Scott Starks... Ahmad carrol (cut by the packers) is their last DB and has only helped out on ST's...

Terry cousin sat out the bills game.

DT marcus stroud is playing through a Bum ankle. Henderson has been held out of some practice as a precaution to his hamstring that started to tighten up...

Overall like CK said their strength is 2 great DT's and a very good CB. This should mean tough running up the middle, and chambers will be well covered. BUT Booker and welker can easily have a great game. Also with darius out the safties are suseptable to big plays off of play action....
