The envelope, please. The combatants in Super Bowl XLI, on Feb. 4, 2007, at Dolphins Stadium?

The New England Patriots vs. the Dallas Cowboys. You heard it here first.
All kinds of great angles. Belichick-Parcells. Bledsoe-Belichick. Kraft-Parcells.

Brady-Bledsoe. Parcells and his son-in-law, Pats VP of player personnel Scott Pioli, on opposite sides. Maybe we'd call it the Dallas Pioli Bowl. There are two weeks between the conference championships and the Super Bowl this season. We'd need two months to cover all the angles. That's how many good stories would be connected to this game.

And we haven't even mentioned Terrell Owens yet. Or Jerry Jones.
So many good stories that Terry Glenn might make the 17th paragraph of the Associated Press' Super Bowl preview. Might.

Nah give me New England vs. Carolina.

Its funny, I think Miami will win the East, but will lose to New England in the AFC title game at home. On the other side, I don't see anybody messing with Carolina this year, they added Keyshawn and got Williams out of the draft . . man they should be real dangerous.

I also think NFC will be stronger than the AFC this year. The NFC East will be the toughest division, with 4 playoff contenders. The South could very well be the second toughest. All my opinion, and I am hoping for Miami to be there, but if I was impartial to the situation, that would be my prediction.

Miami-Carolina

Miami has finally gotten all the pieces in place to be a championship team. We have our QB, our O-Line is lookin good with Houck, and our D is startin to get younger and there will be alot of younger players who step up this year.

Carolina has possibly gotten what they need to when the whole thing. Johnson could possibly be that last piece, now they will not double up on smith because they cant leave him open. There solid a RB with Foster who blow up last year, and they have a good rookie bac in williams. There Defense has been one of the tops in the league the past few years and it will be again.

Its gonna be one heck of a game

If the Patriots even get the opportunity to play for a Super Bowl in OUR HOUSE, I will vomit and probably break something with a large projectile.

...That being said, I think the NFC is locked up. Has anyone noticed how absolutely LOADED the Carolina Panthers are???

The AFC is wide open, and we certainly have a shot. :ffic:

I have Pitt not making the playoffs also, I still think they're slightly overrated.

But I also have the Redskins in last place

The Steelers not makeing the playoffs ok? Overrated ok? I know I am a fan but come on guys we own the AFC north we just had a few slips and slides last year. Our defenses will be better this year and that should by itself should scare most of you lesser AFC teams. Ben and Willie will have more exp. under there belt and be ready to go. We drafted pretty good so I just dont see us being overrated and not makeing the playoffs 6 sb win this season guys book it. By the way i hope you all win the east.

Steelers - panthers

31-14 we win
