It's remarkable he patched it together just enough to hold up in last year's playoffs. He was mostly gone at that point. Reed has been nicked for many years and doesn't play physical during the regular season. He saves it for the playoffs and it finally paid off. I was thrilled for him. He even got a Super Bowl interception despite being a shell of his former self.

I opposed signing him here in the related threads, for all the reasons above. You're signing a liability in the regular season. He could help a team in the playoffs if he rested for a month or more and then was used for specific purposes...not to surrender the deep gash touchdowns over the middle. Reed still reads tape and quarterback eyes as well as anyone.
