.........He didnt just get injured......HE'S ALWAYS INJURED!!! He was injury prone in college, and it has carried into the pros. I wont call him trash but, he is almost on the way out.
Just wanted to say Moore played in every game his collegiate career.

Don't believe me?

Eddie Moore Collegiate Career

I guess the injury tag comes when he played one season with a seperated shoulder. Damn him for that.

Another of Wannsuck's bums. It still makes me sick that Wannsuck passed up Anquan Boldin to take this guy.
yeah, and I suppose you knew Boldin would blow up like he did. I think he will be back to reality a bit this year

Besides being picked too early what makes him garbage? He got injured and hasn't had enough time on the field to make a fair judgement. I actually thought he played well in the small chance he had on the field.

He has also had pretty stiff competition since Seau came into town.

I agree, the guy has some potential on the field, thought he and Pope played pretty well last season.

Can we as a group please give up on the Boldin comments? No one is more aggravated than me that we didn't take him, but that's in the past. We have Moore. Let's hope it's not something serious, and he'll be back on the field soon. Or else, knowing Saban, he won't be on the team long (and THEN can we forget about Boldin?)

Moore had a red vest on in minicamps (red vest=injured and no contact), but he did still practice. I think he is still rehabbing from last year. This is not a new injury. He'll be ready by preseason. I agree with some of you who think he showed flashes of being good last year. Just cause Wanny/Spielman drafted him does not mean we should crucify the guy. I must admit the getting-knocked-out-in-a-bar-fight bit caused me to lose a little respect for him, though.

Well its hard to put it in the past when Boldin is one of the top young Wrs in the league and Moore plays as much as I do for the Phins. We have Moore, I hope he gets healthy and plays great but its hard to not think of Boldin everytime you see this guy go on the injured list. Especially when our Gm at the time wanted him and Wannestadt overrode him. If Moore was selected over Boldin in the 4th or 5th round that would be one thing but cmon, we needed a Wr much more than a Lb and Moore was a 4th-6th round talent not 2nd round. Even if you don't compare his selection to Boldin it was still a huge stretch.

The guy I would have liked to seen us draft when we took Moore wasn't Boldin, but Lance Briggs. Taking a LB was ok, it was just the wrong LB.
Oh well, water under the bridge now, and all the complaining in the world won't change things. :)

I'm from Eddie's home town so I'm very biased. Here is a couple of truths about
Eddie.. never missed a game in High school and played in every single game in college. Best running back to ever come out of South Pittsburg, Tn. a school which has won several State championships. Converted to lb at TN. and played in every single game in his four years. Nobody is more dissapointed than me that he has been injured while at Miami but to say he has been injury prone his whole career is untrue.. One thing is certain When Eddie was selected by Miamii they gained 2000 more fans from this small town. See we all know what Eddie has been thru in his life so were very proud of him. One more thing, Eddie
could use your prayers today instead of your criticism .. A very special person

"Was a four-year letterman (1999-2002) for the Volunteers who started each of his final two seasons ... Appeared in 46 games, including 24 starts..."

looks like he missed a whopping 2 game appearance his first two years :)

I would really like to see Eddie Moore succeed, i have heard that he is a very good LB when healthy and playing and i want to see him unleash his skill. I thought he would be quite good coming from the Vols, and i think he could be if he would just stay healthy. Those are some interesting facts e-man, i hope he can get on the field and show his talent before we lose him because of the other really talented guys we have at LB (Bua, Crowder, Pope, Thomas and Seau for now)

I know why would we want a guy that was Rookie of the year, as opposed to a guy who hasnt played a year combined..........

He would not have been rookie of the year if he had come to the dolphins. Look at Chambers, 4 years and still not a 1000 yard year.

Im sure no one is rooting against Moore, he's a Phin, everyone wants him to play well. I didnt follow him in his college career, it sounds as though he was always healthy there, just bad luck in the pros. He certainly has caught the injury bug in the NFL. Too bad, its hard to lose a high draft pick to injury, it sets an organization back to lose out on its high draft picks.

Yeah since when was Arizona famous for producing elite NFL recievers....?

I have always hoped Moore turns out to be great, after the pick I was excited and hoping he were good. Bad Luck, i just don't see how he will work out in Saban's big linebacker way of thinking. But if he leaves the dolphins i hope he has a cool career.

yep, and tyrone calico. the guy hasnt even been on the field long enough to prove that wanny reached for him in the 2nd. saban's gonna be cleaning up wannstedt's messes for at least a couple of years.
