Edwards at #2 is a bluff!

Yes it is. But like any bluff you need to be willing to take it all the way. I think Minn will trade for security and grab him in our slot. If not we need to get him and send a signal to the other GMs. I would not be for wasting a pick to send a sign but picking a player like Edwards is HARDLY wasting a pick no matter your depth.
 
Sitting at #2, and with the our needs at RB / QB / WR, we can bluff anyone into thinking we'll go with one of those positions. That makes bluffing Edwards very smart for trade down purposes, but at the same time who says we're bluffing???....

Those teams below us don't think we're bluffing on Edwards just for the sake of bluffing. We can use a WR like Edwards just like the Vikes can, and if they want him more, they'll have no choice but to trade up....
