Email Problem

In my control panel I have email notification turned OFF, but I still recieve about 15 emails every day from FH :confused:

I would like to know how to make this stop. Here is one of the emails for example:



To: blitzincorporated@yahoo.com
Subject: Reply to post 'New Member!'
From: "FinHeaven & Co Forums Mailer" <webmaster@finheaven.com> Add to Address Book
Date: Fri, 16 Jan 2004 16:19:45 -0500

Hello Bl¡tz Inc,

aquaman has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled -
New Member! - in the Miami Dolphins forum of FinHeaven & Co Forums.

not sure, but you do have

"Email Notification: emails sent to you whenever someone replies. Only registered users are eligible. " checked in a post you just made...

do you have Yes or No for Use 'Email Notification' by default?
Using this option emails you whenever someone replies to a thread that you have participated in.

Also, are you subscribed to any threads?? Have you used that "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the email (all threads)??

Yeah, I've been subscribing to threads so that they appear in my Control Panel. Is that bad?
