It’s always great to see a former player who never played for the Dolphins be able to view the team without a bias. He obviously see a team with an outstanding young QB, surrounded by highly skilled talent.
We could be if our Defense goes back to last year's win streak version.

I do think we have to remember it was theLions that we just had to make a comeback on
Fair enough.
But it’s also fair to point out that we should also remember that the Lions played Philadelphia to within a FG and played super close games against Seattle and Minnesota — all of whom have winning records and are currently leading their respective divisions.
Including Miami now, 5 of the Lions 6 losses are to division winners or 2nd place teams.
This is the NFL, not high school or college. Pretty much every team is capable of beating anyone else on any given day.

I believe we are a top 4 team in the league right now. You can make the argument that we are #1. I think we are capable of beating the eagles, bills & chiefs in a playoff game.

I don't think we are there yet, definitely not the Bills level. I do think we are one of the better teams in the AFC but we are not consistent and we haven't shown yet that we can play outdoors in cold or adverse weather conditions like we know the Bills and Chiefs can.
I'd be delighted with the playoffs and to win one game in them this season. Next season I think we can challenge the Bills for the division and even homefield advantage.

I’m still not sold on Philly.
Improved, yes. But a top 5 team when all is said and done? IDK about that.
And while I realize it was only a few days of practice, let’s not forget that most accounts of the joint practices between Miami and Philly had our Dolphins as the better team.
