Whether you like Mike Shula or not, you have to admit, it's a good sign the Dolphins were able to conduct two interviews with him completely under the radar. I mean, the interviews reportedly took place over the weekend, and nobody really knew about it until Tuesday. Who knows, maybe there are other candidates Miami is talking to. I find it encouraging, what do you think?

I hope youre right!

Mike Shula couldn't hold a job in College. He has already failed in the NFL, I believe.

You missed the point in his post. It has nothing to do with Mike Shula as a coaching prospect. He's reading between the situation, and I agree with what he's saying............

Your right. My appoligies. Yes it is interesting how they pull that off. Wondering if they did this with anybody else?

already failed? he was an assistant coach for 3 teams I believe. The Dolphins, Bucs and Colts. He was the 2nd youngest coach in that division of Alabama. You dont fail that young. You are growing and learning. It always depends what you are coming into also. I dont like your negative tone. I am not saying I am all for him, but I hate when people just jump negatively on someone.

The fact that he was interviewed at all, much less twice, is a slap in the face of all Dolfans. I mean, what on God's green earth has this guy done to deserve an interview??

It doesn't encourage or reassure me. Only makes me question just what the hell our leadership is doing.

He has done more than Brian Shottenheimer who got an interview.

Honestly? IMO, nothing. I didn't like it at first, but now that I've had a chance to think about it I'm not worried. I don't think he has a snowball's chance in the Orange Bowl of getting the job. But it probably will make some college athletic director feel more comfortable offering him a HC position now... which I believe was the goal in the first place, regardless of the spin they put on it.

Interesting, I never thought of that before. Might be something to it.
