Ok wildpat had it's most success against ne this year. No more Ronnie. This is the week for pat white to explode. Otherwise I'm moving on and not caring because in essense it was a free pick. Goooo pat and fins.

Whenever Pat White comes onto the field I hope for him to prove himself, but most of the time each play is a disappointment. Yeah, he's young and needs to adapt to the NFL, but if we play him tomorrow I hope we use him cautiously and not at critical moments. If anything though, I hope we run that option play since it was effective in the previous game against the Patriots.

In essence it wasn't a free pick so you can move on and not care early.

Ummmmm yea but when u trade a player for a pick. And that player has a terrible season with injuries. Then he comes back in great health it becomes a free pick genius.

The dolphins are paying pat white and seeing is how we could have used that pick on someone who could have started the pat white wasn't really free genius. The option to pick a player in that spot may have been.collecting a pay check and taking up a roster spot hardly counts as free

Im not following this either. No pick is a free pick. we did give something up for white and are paying him a salary so how is that considered . . Free

Really a dumb theory on your behalf, no pick is free period. Wasting that pick is another thing but that's why we have been stuck in mediocracy for what seems like forever. We needed that pick to fill a OLB position and there were a bunch of excellent ones available.

I don't care for the P.White pick but I also don't think giving up on a rookie makes any more sense, so essentially your on strike two in one post, congratulations. Then you struck out on your defense in the next post, can you here the crowd....swing batter, batter.

Way to go GENIUS!!!!

Pat White is being groomed "first", not just, but "first" to learn the QB position in the NFL level. He is being kept safe in case Henne goes down. So that's why he isn't playing so much.

Next season, I expect him to be ready to read defenses (in turn making him a lot more dangerous out of the Wildcat due to the fact that he won't just be flea flicking, but actually have the ability to pick the already confused defense apart)....as well as eventually "being" the actual Wildcat in motion that can take the handoff from Ronnie Brown and take off with it full speed or fake it and step back for a possible pitch back for a bomb pass or go out and be an eligible receiver for Brown.

I even think they will eventually have him return punts and allow Bess to focus solely in the slot position. That's got to be why they invested a 2nd round pick on him.

I also wouldn't be surprised if MIA re-trades Thigpen and re-sign Pennington to backup Henne.

i agree its now or never for this team, "cant hurt to try" what are we saving him for (is the big question)

Trade Pat White for Percy Harvin. Minnesota will need a new QB when Favre retires.
Percy Harvin is a beast and the Vikings would never trade him. Actually, the Vikings wanted Pat White, but we got him before them.
