Enough Already....

Disagree, first of all, neither David Neal, you or I know all the details of what has transpired.

From what we do know, its highly possible there has been some tampering that has inhibited the Dolphins ability to recoup some value for the sizeable investment that was made to Daunte Culpepper.

Regardless, I will give the Dolphins management the benefit of the doubt until all the facts can be known.

just shut up about Cpep no body in a while has been talking about him it is old news now

Why does anybody have to shut up on this site. You want to know what is old news its people who tell people to shut up. You say nobody in a while has talked about Cpep, I am on this site everyday 365 days a year and it seems to me that Cpep gets talked about every single day. So I don't know what you mean about no one is talking about him. But I'm not going to tell you to shut up.

Everybody's made big deals about the Bills trading away Spikes and McGahee and letting Fletcher and Clements walk, but with the exception of London, the other guys wanted to be gone, either for an opportunity to make the playoffs (Spikes), an improved social life (McGahee) or more money (Clements). The Bills let them go rather than keep unhappy players on their roster to poison team cohesion by pitting players against the team itself.

I agree with the author of the column. Cut Daunte, close that chapter of Fins history, and move on.

That's cautionary if you're wide receiver Ted Ginn and have yet to be busted in the mouth over the middle

Thats a lame comment, it suggests Ginn hasnt took a hit in his career and wont survive over the middle. The guy wont and hasnt been a possesion WR IMO. Lets just see shall we!! I hate it when the media spewt personal comments to a quality players ability to be able to contribute at the top level before hes even played a game. Busted in the mouth over the middle? How about getting burned by him when hes burning it downfield? Im more for the latter.

Nobody cares about an apes opinion much less what's going on with the Jilly men.

Of course, if the team was upfront with Cpep over the last 2 months, we might not be in this situation either. It's now apparent that the FO is and was ready to move on. Why not tell him that and try to work with him to get a trade that both parties are ok with? Maybe he still throws a fit, but then again, we might have avoided this circus.

Who says they were not upfront, everyone on this site knew they were going after Trent Green, if Culpepper didn't see this coming, then he better fire himself as his agent!

People have to catch him first to hit him, I'm sure he's going to take a lick soon, but its not the size of the body, its the size of the heart. Welker would get smacked hard almost every game it seemed but he would always pop right back up like no big deal.

What if we couldn't get a deal done with KC, what if Peterson changed his mind and decided Green would start one more season?

Then Culpepper might have been needed as an asset of Miami.

He has been paid very well, he had no right to know everything the Dolphin management was thinking about.

Thank you, god I'm agreeing with a Jets fan, I think I'm gonna hurl.

Yes, but maybe Daunte thought that he would have a chance to compete at the position. Plus, clearly he was surprised, so we did not try to work this out first. That basically says that we were not "upfront" and just assumed that he would "get the message". Again, it may or may not have mattered, but we could have handled it differently, possibly to better results.
