The majority of the members on this board did not put in the time and effort to analyze these players. I am pretty sure that Parcells and Ireland did their homework. Just because these names aren't "sexy" doesn't mean they are not good choices.

Looking at their past drafts and their analysis of past players they know what they are doing.

Lets stop all the crying and negativity and start supporting the team we all love.

In the Tuna We Trust.

I think Day One was a great day.....I would give it an A.....Day Two hasn't been quite as good....I would say a B or B- so far....but I think we have fulfilled most of our needs except at D-Back and Wide Receiver.

Thank you for pointing that out and I agree with you

True...I trust our FO so let them do their job and just wait for the season start...GO DOLHINS!!!

you know after every draft i just laugh at this post...no offense at all...we need Corner Backs...if they feel comfortable with Bust and Bell at Safty...GREAT but we have 1 decent corner back and the others are practice squad fodder...we will die in the passing game each and every week...and the only skills player was one we didnt need

I agree, we should draft everyone we can at least 2 rounds before they are projected. An stupid KC for taking all those highly rated players!

Come on now...you know you are going to miss Cameron Worrell trying to cover Randy Moss. :sidelol:

I agree. I'm tired of the whining going on. "How can you take Player X who i've never seen play, over player Y who I read about this morning!!!" It's ridiculous. I assume none have you have ever evaluated Guard play. I know I haven't...I wouldn't even know what to be looking at. I do know that Parcells and Sporano have.

I'm not someone who says a player is good just because Parcells took him either. I just know that he and the Dolphins front office have been doing this a long time and have a hell of a lot more information on these players than I do...which amounts to whatever I read from so-called "experts" on the Internet.

I happen to like that the Dolphins are focusing on the lines. They have been ignored and patched together with back-ups for so long that we need a draft like this.

Whoever said Bust and Bell will start? I think Crocker starts at one spot and someone else maybe at the other.

Will allen is better than everyone gives him credit for. Goodman and Lehan are decent. We are better at secondary than people think. We will be fine for now. We have to get our QB(check), build our OL(check, and probably another to come), and start the process of drafting our future front 7 which is the key to Parcells' teams(check with more picks to come this year and next at this spot).

this has been a great draft! we have the trenches now underfold... maybe with our next pick we take frank okam if he is there. we need to just solidify the trenches. we need a running back, ilb, cornerback, wide reciever with our last few picks after. what i want to know is what are we going to do with matt roth? this guy is very talented, and had an off year. solid player in my mind that will be able to jump in and take pressure off during plays. i love the merling, langdon, long picks. im not sure about shawn murphy, and chad henne... i actually hate henne though! forget about the big arm! john beck has a big arm! we could have picked eric ainge later in the draft. thats the only thing im upset with!

The thread starter is correct.

I didn't even know ex-Atlanta Braves outfielder Dale Murphy had any kids! :)

What people fail to understand is that your front seven make the corner back. Our CBs will suddenly look much better when we actually have something resembling a pass rush.

Corners generally get a whole lot better with a run stuffing, pass rushing defensive line.

Build the line, the corners will be better.

Simple.

sad thing is after this draft we may have to keep him...and thats not funny...at all...say what you want about him on Specials but when you have to line him up at Safety....there is a huge gaping problem that need to be addressed
