Epic Final Play Was Also One For The Record Books!

I'm glad it was 69. Poetic justice

But now I have a mental image of Brady and Jonathan Martin stuck in my head.
Weird...

Good point - with Gronk on the field, which the announcers made a specific point of. And he's the guy that really blew it in the end. 69 her derp!

Just imagine how the situation worked out perfectly. We benefitted immensely from having exactly one time out after the long pass interference penalty on Fitzpatrick. Any other number and we probably lose.

If the Dolphins had either 2 time outs or 3 time outs, then New England knows the game can't end tamely. Too much time for Miami. Brady will be more aggressive and likely put up a touchdown.

Obviously if we had zero time outs then New England can merely kneel three times.

But with precisely one time out they decided to play it cautiously and milk the clock, knowing that there would only be 15 or 20 seconds remaining for the kickoff even if they failed to score a touchdown on the three running plays.

Hey V, my Brother from another Mother. I think, as far as successful and innovative plays, it is second only to, the 13th week of 1994,
playing the Jets, in their house, down 24-6 at the half, Pete "the choke sign" Carroll, as the Jets HC. And Dan "the man" Marino, not only brings the Dolphins back, but gets the last score of the game with the FAKE SPIKE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keeping Miami in sole first place in the East.

Omg, that stumble will haunt him

Guarantee he will never play another defensive play in the NFL.

Also Drake's subtle inside fake is what caused that stumble but a real safety would have had about a 5x better chance at making the tackle.

Belicheat outthinking himself. We weren't even in range for a decent hail Mary attempt why have Gronk out there just silly
