Come on everyone we know we need to develop! That is why we are not giving up big bucks but bringing in players with talent that we may teach.
Lets keep the faith , and keep a open mind this season. I think we could compete for a playoff spot but it will come from coaching, and player dev. is 2-3 yrs off lets support not detrimize this team (are we fans or critics?)

so get younger on defense apparently has been thrown out by Saban.

Brown is 30, and Taylor will be 32 in December

what is the point of bringing in these players after 1 preaseason game? They aren't any better than what we have now, and it would take them weeks to learn the defense.

How would Taylor be better than Daniels? Travis doesn't have bad knees, is faster, and knows the defense. To me, it sounds like Saban is thinking of signing people just for the hell of it.

I know that Bobby hasn't been contacted by Miami yet, but a few weeks ago, he was on their shortlist.
