I didn't realize we signed him to a 3 million contract just for 3/4 games and he's a free agent next year yet we have a 2.15 cap hit next year which now puts us 14 million over the projected cap of 225 million

Not sure what you are seeing, but it is a 1 year deal for $1,120,000.00 with a cap hit of $250K. There is nothing for next year. I think you may have misread something.

Hey has he seen action yet? Or was he just signed as insurance?
I haven’t seen him yet…I expect he is preparing himself to play as the insurance policy for the loss of either tackle?
Armstead is far from what you would describe as durable.
The money is there to spend. If it helps us have a better chance to be productive in the playoff push or in the actual playoffs, it's a brilliant use of it. We know that TA is held together with seahorse snot and bailing wire.
We're 2.5mill over the cap for 2023.....I don't know where you're getting 14mill
