Eric Green is no stranger to lifting weights, but in his first week of workouts with his new Dolphins teammates, the cornerback said he threw up after every session.

"The way we work, I've never trained that hard ever a day in my life," said Green, who spent his first four seasons playing for the Arizona Cardinals and has put on about 10 pounds of muscle since arriving in South Florida.

While the NFL
's sanctioned organized training activities are "voluntary" for all players, the atmosphere created by the Dolphins and many other teams puts pressure on these athletes to attend every weightlifting, conditioning and practice sessions.

Not only is participation encouraged, but it's often rewarded. Most of the Dolphins' player contracts have workout clauses tied to bonuses.

Thats what I love to hear ..... GO FINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

10 lbs of muscle is no joke. It speaks to our system, but it also speaks to Arizona's - or at least the effort he put in over there.

I remember reading about his vomiting before, though.

10 pounds of muscle over a month's time on a 196 pound cornerback...that's a lot. It wouldn't surprise me to see a 260 pounder do that or certainly a 300+ pounder but a guy that is less than 200 pounds doing that is pretty significant.

And people wonder why Paul Soliai is overweight.

actually it is drn near physiologically impossible without steroids. So it is an exaggeration on the writer's part or whoever told him the info. Not even a weakling n00b can gain that with optimal workout and nutrition.

With about 5 minutes of reading on bodybuilding.com the writer would known this.

I did easily with a mix of Burger King and couch rest!

Come Sept all Green will be able to do is marvel how nasty Vontae Davis is when he is sitting their in street clothes...

yeah he may have gained weight but he DID NOT put on 10 lbs on muscle.. that I can promise ya

This isn't a nutrition forum, but it is very posible to gain 10 pounds within that period of time with his weight.
Creatine which is totally legal in every way will put AT LEAST 5 pounds of muscle on you within a week if you work out.
Green was most likely comming off a period of time where he wasn't working out also, making it even easier.

why do players have to slam their old team like that? just keep your mouth shut & play football. simplify.
