Houston Texans Tackle Winston was asked by Rome to weigh in on the Carroll trip and Winston said that he felt that the fact the four coaches were standing so close to each other and not one backed up when Carroll was flying down the field was awfully suspicious as if the Jets players were coached to run Carroll out of bounds..., when you watch the replay it is pretty obvious that the Jets coaches didn't flinch but the natural reaction is to take 4-5 steps back... and Winston followed up by saying that those same coaches are usually in charge of getting the players to stand back... awfully sinister...
He said he was glad that the guy was fined but didn't lose his job because he believes in second chances. He said it is a good thing Carroll got up, otherwise the incident would look a lot worse for the Jets... (obvious stuff)
From my perspective the Jets tried to walk away from the ordeal because 4 employees were involved - the one who shot his knee forward got caught but the Jets are breathing a sigh of relief - one day the truth might come out
