Esiason on Inside the NFL giving love to Fins....

Well I agree with Boomer on this one. Not too many teams can start the season @Seattle and @NewEngland and do well. We went 0-2, and just about everybody had us losing both of those games, even the optimistic playoff predictors. Now I'm looking for Miami to go 9-5 the rest of the way. Fingers crossed.
 
Well, even though I predicted 9-7 at best from this team, after watching the way then played the 1st 2 games, I am expecting/hoping for 10-4 from here on...

Every year I hear about the great parity in the NFL, yet somehow the Dolphins suck every year and predictably lose to any top tier team, home or away. I don't know, maybe Gase figures out how to coach, maybe they get lucky in some drafts or actually now have GM that knows his craft. Maybe, maybe, maybe... We are maybe headed for another 1-15 season, too. lol

Unless Gene Steratore is the referee assigned to that game, in which case we're just ****ed.

Ugh... Thanks for the reminder. I lost a lot of sleep over that ****ing game man. Big Ben fumbled. Steratore jacked us. [emoji35][emoji35][emoji35][emoji35][emoji35]

I like the optimism

Hoping for 9-10 wins seems like a lot for us but who knows

It's all perspective. You hear about the great parity and Miami actually finishes in the middle of that parity pool at 7-9, 8-8 or 9-7. Actually over the previous four seasons I believe the only team in the AFC east that has a better record than Miami was New England. I think Miami and the Bills were tied and the Jets were one game back entering the season.

It won't surprise me at all to have the league scrooed the phins AGAIN!

I'll go bat shizzle crazy if it is Steratore (from western PA) & his crew reffing the game.

p.s Now that the Boomer the CBS clown is speaking positively about Miami, the phins are hosed

Yea, I agree it's a lot to expect, but I really believe it's very doable if Gase is the real deal (yet to prove to me that he isn't), all it takes is a little success, and the team will start getting confident, then from there, anything is possible.

The next 5 games will give us a huge indication of what type of team we actually have, if we come out with 4 wins out of the 5, then this will start getting interesting.

Miko Slimes has a better chance of having a slightly rational thought than Phins have a winning against the Steelers with Steratore as ref.

Aha there's where you miscalculated. The moment you label a game a "should win" is when the Dolphins gonna Dolphin.

Happens every year.
