Your div title counts but we all know if Brady is healthy they win the division that year. He's that great.

I don't know, just trying to give a rational explanation. Herm isn't a great fact guy
 
Too ****ing funny; we wouldn't have won the division if Brady was healthy, but the jest backdoor free pass into the playoffs counts despite one of the greatest QBs of all time on a 14 game win streak being sat down when leading and replaced by a scrub with a 4QBR. "Pretzel Logic"

Brady goes down in 2008 , the fins take advantage of it and the jets didn't. The NFL needs to void the entire season out of the history books. LMAO!

No one said that, I said you earned your div title(unlike a certain poster who still whines about a tougher path for the Jets in '09) but the reality is if Brady plays you don't win the division.

If, If , If. Cassel had a top 10 year in 2008 , maybe the pats might've won a game or two more with brady, who knows??? Maybe brady plays and goes down with an injury and misses the last month and the pats finish with a worse record than with cassel. I could go on but why? I'd rather go peel potatoes than play a never ending game of if with you.

Wait! If Brady plays we don't win the division, but if Manning who outscored the jest 45-27 while playing between game 15 and the POs in 09 including 24-zippo in the last 31 mins with a hobbled Freeney and no Sanders ended up not being pulled, you wouldn't have continued to be the same mediocre team that couldn't win a legit game 14 at home against a dead Atlanta and ended up 8-8 at best????

Brady healthy is definite but Manning staying in in game 15 isn't?? Yeah right.

Thats exactly what you are saying.....because Brady went down, we won the division......What you're also saying the there is an * beside the 2008 division win.....you don't know if Brady played that he would have pulled off a season better than the 11-5 season Cassel led them to. Matt Cassell played pretty well that season.....Jets have had some luck and good fortune as well durin their playoff run, but they took advantage of those opportunities much like Miami did in 08 to win the division.....Favre and the Jets coulda stopped us from winning the division in the final game......it's like that every year in this league so stop with the BS "if Brady played you wouldn't have won the division"......the reality is you nor does anyone else know what woulda happened had he played.....

You won't believe the difference it makes. I went cold turkey 10 yrs ago. I watch the sports events and that's it. Did watch a couple of the 30 for 30 but that's it.

ok, you win. NE would clearly have won less games w/ Tom Brady at QB and Miami still would have won the division. Does it make you happy to think this?

We know the Pats win at least 1 more game w/ Brady, we don't know if the huge 5 pt lead midway through the 3rd Peyton helped Indy get would have lasted.

Either way we both got gifts(your was all season long) and earned our way into the playoffs- you know the rest.

If the truth bothers you that's on you. You guys took advantage of a break and won the division, they earned it but everyone knows NE wins that division if Brady is healthy- even the Dolphins themselves.

We had the same opportunity and failed, we did get a break in 2009 and also took advantage.

I can't believe anyone takes to heart anything ESPN says.....Herman Edwards on espn is another level of things I will never pay attention to.
