I read parts of this article this morning, and I do mean parts. I got the impression that whoever wrote this is very opinionated whether he is right or wrong. Some of the things he wrote about players is just plain retarded. He hates Adrian Petersen. He hates Ronnie Brown. Read on for yourselves.

Maybe it just bothers me because he calls it Love/Hate and uses the words to say that he loves certain players and hates others.

Personally, I am pretty hyped to have Ronnie and Ricky in the backfield this year with a better O-line.

they do this every week before each game and it changes with who the teams play. its just fantasy. i can understand him 'hating' ronnie, hes injury prone and would probably cost your 2nd round pick in the fantasy draft. it makes sense fantasy wise.

He hates Brown, you love him.

What's the difference?

In my opinion fantasy football has perverted the concept of being an NFL fan. Sure, there are certain positives - for example people pay more attention to other teams, and as a result are better educated about the NFL as a whole (rather than only knowing about just one team), and the NFL gets more people to be interested in more games.

However, there are two negatives. For one, I have seen fantasy players cheer for a touchdown scored against the Dolphins because "he's on my fantasy team." How can something that causes a fan to cheere against his favorite team be a good thing?

The other is that people are no longer watching games and which team wins or loses. Fantasy players are just looking for updates on their fantasy team players. They root for individual stats rather than for a team to win. A quarterback with 400 yards in a loss is better than throwing 200 yards in a win. Three turnovers is okay as long as there were also three touchdowns and a lot of individual yardage. Three one yard touchdowns is better than 150 yards from scrimmage. They cheer when a division rival does well if they have a certain player on their fantasy team, shrugging "yeah, but my team won this week."

I understand that many folks find a lot of enjoyment from fantasy football, but I am troubled by it's effect on football fans and following NFL games.

i always just bench the people who are playing the dolphins

problem solved

Three one yard touchdowns is better than 150 yards from scrimmage.

three one yard touchdowns = 18 points
150 yards from scrimmage = 15 points

while its better... its nothing to rant about...

I should be a fantasy experts because I already have my plan but I won't share. Lol I know. My last year sleeper TE Jason Witten I have my sleeper TE in mind because this year people will jump on Jason Witten Strap this year and I would avoid him. WHY? this means that it will push to players down one bit and I still get my TE.

Then you are never going to win, I saw a panthers fan draft Steve Smith Real high. Tom Brady was my first pick last year/ then Ronnie Brown in the 2nd. I am not a homer when it comes to fantasy football and I don't load up with dolphins! the dolphins defense killed my fantasy team last year.

You should have seen the writing on the wall early about how bad our defense stunk and dumped them! I picked up some good defenses all year long last season.

How can you love a HB that has players and a COO being grand jury indicted at mini-camp because the POS ran over a girl then ran away? I won't listen to anything that ESPN moron has to say. NTW their really isn't anyone with ESPN that isn't a Moron and I wouldn't take their opinions over my own. If you people wanty to play FF then I suggest you go with your gut and what you know because ESPN is biased and ignortant on 90% of what they try to analyze.

You should have seen how many people pass on Witten, Not a brady lover though, but I had raiders/dolphins they were both getting bulldozed by running backs.
