I think it is more like 99.9% chance because I do not think they want to expose Landry to injury on returns.

The Miami Dolphins made a lot of personnel changes following last year’s 6-10 season and the hire of new coach Adam Gase. Therefore, every player has a clean slate and must prove themselves this summer in training camp.

This week ESPN.com’s Dolphins page takes a look at several players on the roster bubble. Next up is rookie playing in a deep position.
Bubble player: WR Jakeem Grant
2015 college stats: 90 receptions, 1,268 yards and 10 touchdowns
Analysis: The sixth-round pick is in an interesting spot with the Dolphins. Despite very good production in college as a receiver, Grant’s best chance of making their 53-man roster is on special teams returning kicks. Miami is deep at receiver, led by Jarvis Landry, DeVante Parker, Kenny Stills and third-round pick Leonte Carroo. Barring injury, Grant likely will not crack that lineup and get much playing time on offense. But he had four kickoff returns for touchdowns in college, and he’s currently the favorite to take over the job Landry has held the past two seasons.
Chances of making team: 70 percent

He will get on special teams! By the way we are truly loaded at WR: Juice, Devante, Stills, Caroo. That is some exciting stuff

Pads and practice in Pads and the Pre Season will tell us if he can take hits at this level in the NFL. I hope so, kid seems to be a play maker!

I'm putting my fantasy scout cap on, I think this kid can make a T.Y Hilton type of impact on offense and special teams, if he can get the playbook down and Gase and Christianson gets him into space, that speed can be scary! Hopefully anyway!~

No shot he's on the team come week 1.

Given the praise he received from players and coaches after they saw him on the field....THAT is the conclusion you came to? You really have your finger on the pulse

One would hope so and here is PFF opinion.

On paper, the Dolphins’ receiving core seems to be among the most talented in the NFL. That is unless you ask Pro Football Focus, who recently ranked the Dolphins’ receiving core, 25th out of 32 NFL teams.http://www.thephinsider.com/2016/7/14/12185172/dolphins-receiving-core-ranks-25th-by-pff

Normally I would say his chances were poor but the guy who's gonna be his main competition for the return job (Drake) is made of glass.

Grant is in the perfect position to return kicks...and get sprinkled into multiple receiver sets.

Drake needs to be our change of pace #2 back.
