ESPN Breaking News: Chad Pennington out for Season

Didnt see this on here yet, but about 5 minutes ago across the screen of ESPN it says that Pennington is officially out for the season... Some people are going to get their wish of Chad Henne starting. I hope he's as good as everyone (myself included) thinks he will be.
 
Many of us saw it coming (MRI results don't take that long to read)...no surprise there unfortunately. Best of luck to Pennington, here's to a quick rehab if that's possible.
 
Chad Penningtons career is over. This is the best thing that could have happened for the Phins, and I mean that with all due respect.
 
That sucks..... Time for Henne to prove himself.

this is true. pennington never woudl have taken you any further than he did last year. at least now you don't have to wait year like we did for your team to start it's future.
 
I feel really bad for penny. he'll retire as the most accurate passer in NFL history. that isn't too shabby.

Well for everyone who wanted to see more Henne... here it comes.
 
The King is dead, long live the King. I really feel bad for Pen. What he did last year was legend and he doesn't deserve to have had his career go like this. Good QB, great guy.

Now we'll see about Henne. Probably won't be the revelation people hope for, but I just hope he shows something more than mediocrity as we move forward.
