I was reading this chat on ESPN.com and it was just nice to see someone recognize how good Ronnie Brown could be.

andrew, new york: being a huge dolphins fan, i really like ronnie brown and think he can easily be a top 5 running back in this league when on the field. what are your thoughts?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell: (6:48 PM ET ) A healthy Ronnie Brown on the Vikings would win NFL MVP.

I agree with that statement,

At least that he'd be one of the best backs in the league. Behind a guy like Steve Hutchinson or Matt Birk on offense, with Richardson at FB and of course healthy he would definitely one of the more productive RB's in the NFL.

I think he is one of the best ALL AROUND BACKS...he is incredibly powerful runner...he can make you miss and has break away speed.....not to mention he catches everything thrown at him not only catch but run after the catch. Now we see he can run an offense and THROW.....honestly looked at it as biased or whatever but here are my top 5 NFL backs

1. LT
2. AP
3. Brian Westbrook
4. Ronnie Brown
5. Joseph Addai

If healthy i also believe this order to be correct.

Damn, ronnie brown is gettin some respect. He is defenitely a top 5 back. And if our O-line plays the way they played against NE for the rest of the year, RB can be the most productive back in the league

Take someone off this list and add Barber. Barber is the real deal.

Richardson doesnt play for the Vikngs anymore...he plays for the Jets
