ESPN.com says" Harrinton deal in the works " its in the rumour central but requires espn insider to view. Anybody with insider let us know if its anything new or just the same ole espn non-news.
 
They are just talking again. Nobody know what is or isnt' being offered. Supposedly both sides would like to get something done ASAP.
 
Nothing new there really. Just says that The Lions and Dolphins engaged in talks over the weekend that could lead to Harrington being traded to Miami by May 15.
 
I'm not too worried about Joey. He will be here sooner or later. I wouldn't be surprised if Nick had slipped him a playbook already on the low.
 
As many of you know, as CPA for the team I have access to ultra sensitive information. I just wanted to share with you the fax that Nick sends over to the Lions FO ever since Millen went crying to the league...

from what i read on some site that saban is waitin till the 15 thats what his contract is over so we don't have to give the lions no money or anything at all for him

actually there is nothing like that in joey's contract

if harrington is a lion come june 15th then the lions owe him 4 mil

That would be his $4 million dollar roster bonus coming due, not his contracting ending (it doesn't).

We wouldn't give the Lions money, but draft picks. That's the lovely part, what they hoped would be a high round pick is now likely a very low round pick, or not a damn thing at all if they are forced to simply CUT him to avoid paying that $4 bonus...

Not sure what date that bonus is due though...Bueller? - nevermind, says June 15th, right there. thx Duss12.
