didn't see this posted Jake Long and Vernon Carey make the top 10 ultimate building blocks for the AFC east.

http://myespn.go.com/blogs/nflnation?tag=building%20blocks%20afc

3. Jake Long, LT, Dolphins. The No. 1 overall draft pick in 2008 had an impeccable season at one of the game's most important positions. Long showed no weaknesses in run or pass blocking, and was good enough to get sent to the Pro Bowl as an alternate.

10. Vernon Carey, RT, Dolphins. There were quite a few players left to consider, but we went with the best right tackle in the division to give Brady a formidable offensive line. Carey will turn 28 in training camp.

Ronnie Brown, JT, and J-Peezy also get honorable mentions

I think I personally would have had Mayo over Carey. I think Carey is worth every penny we spent on him and is a great RT, but I would have had Mayo rated a little higher. JMO

7. Marshawn Lynch, RB, Bills. We selected Lynch over Dolphins catalyst Ronnie Brown, but Lynch is four years younger and runs much harder. Off-field problems are a concern, but based purely on running ability, the 23-year-old Lynch is entering the prime period of his career.

lynch is a good running back, some may say he is a better running back than brown, but i would have to argue that fact that he runs harder than ronnie does. that imo is just hype to go along with his beast mode nickname.

I dont understand why the national media dont like Ronnie . something is weird here. For a player that taken number 2 overall he gets no love whatsoever.

there are a lot of backs that do a lot of things better than Ronnie Brown does....I don't know that any back runs harder than Ronnie...let alone, 'much harder'

Thats what happens when you only break a 1000 yards once in your career

Fair enough but I really wish he didnt tear his ACL in that 1-15 season. He easily would of had 1200-1500 and 750 receiving, 20 total TD's, that would of changed him for the better.

Carey protects Brady's right side?

i think they ment like since that the 10 players he picked were on his team that he started. so he pick brady as the qb and would like to have carey blocking for brady.

and i agree with whoever said mayo over carey but he makes a good point that he pick his LB already and u really need to have 2 good tackles now-a-days to have any passing game.

Irrelevant. His YPC is very good. He was leading the league before he got injured in 2007.

so stats are irrelevent only when they apply to Ronnie Brown. There are still quite a few backs with a higher YPC than ronnie also, next excuse. He led the league for 7 games , last time I checked there were 16 games in a season.

Nothing is guaranteed, look at this season after we played the Patriots he had like 5 tds and did not stay close to that pace afterward. You cannotjust multiply out an average and say it will easily happen.
