Here is a little article from ESPN about our offseason and upcoming draft. Nothing overally special, but it is new.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3351122

I must point this out though:

Head coach Tony Sparano will be learning under fire as he directs his first team. He has brought in a quality staff of assistant coaches with the only holdovers being offensive coordinator Dan Henning, linebackers coach George Edwards and kicking coach Steve Hoffman. The players have been notified that if they don't produce, they will be gone.
Opps, ESPN nees to re-check their information.

LB Reggie Torbor should start at inside linebacker, while LB Charlie Anderson will compete to be a starting outside linebacker.

LoL, I had to laugh at this one. Does anyone who knows absolutely anything about the Dolphins really think Charlie Anderson has any prayer in starting at OLB??? I mean I guess it's possible as he only has to beat out either Jason Taylor or Joey Porter, LOL.

well, in there defense, we aren't even 100% sure what defense we're going to run. If in fact we for some reason run a 4-3, neither of those players work at OLB.

Now it'd be pretty dumb for us not to run the 3-4, but we are the 1-15 dolphins.

Porter wouldn't work as an OLB???

relax guys...he didn't say that he'd start at OLB....He only said that he'd compete at OLB....for the most part he was praising what we've done....having said that I really don't care what they or anyone else says about our team but he didn't really say anything that bad so off base there.

Ozzy rules!!

in a 4-3, it wouldn't be an ideal situation for him, no.

Porter has no business in coverage, in fact, if hes not blitzing, he's usually out of place. I like porter but he really is one dimensional.

In 3-4 that's perfectly fine, cause thats what the olbs do, they blitz. in a 4-3 theres a lot more responsibility.

Again though, it wouldn't make any sense for us to run the 4-3, im just saying for the sake that we havent come out and said what defense will run yet.

We could lose every game god forbid, we haven't hit the bottom just yet. :sidelol:
