While checking out ESPN's preview of this week's matchups, here's what I saw...

Titans at Dolphins
Miami's chances of making the playoffs are miniscule, but its current four-game winning streak is noteworthy nonetheless. Backup QB Sage Rosenfels has played key roles in two of the team's last four victories after coming off bench for injured starter Gus Frerotte.

I thought Miami was mathematically eliminated...

They have no shot at making the playoffs, but until someone wins the Chargers-Chiefs game, we are still mathmatically alive. But that all ends Sat. aftert he SD-KC game.

I think there is a 0.0000000000000000000001% chance we can make it still. But unlikely.

actually the is 0.000000000000000000000000000000 chance

If KC wins we are out

if SD wins we are out

if KC and SD tie we are out

What if San Diego and Kansas City's game ends in a tie?

Monday Night Football made the same mistake....we can't make it as KC or the Chargers will finish ahead of us. That is why losses to the Jets and Browns and Pats killed us.

the Browns loss was our season killer. Division games are always toss ups, but we are vastly better than Cleveland, and should have mopped the floor with them. That loss killed us.

If they tie we have a better record than KC, and we'll have the same amount of wins as SD. How does this eliminate us? I'm not trying to make it sound like you are wrong, I'm curious and confused.

They would still have a better win percentage.
