ESPN "Expert" Picks For Fins @ Vikings

I hate predictions. I don't make them when it comes to the fins. I'm superstitious, but in the end who gives a **** what any a-hole says on TV about what THEY THINK the outcome will be?

I mean week one was a perfect example of how this game works. THE NFL IS SO UNPREDICTABLE. Any given Sunday one team could just stink it up and not bring their game to the field, yet all week are unanimous favorites.

I don't think there is a difference between me as a fan making a prediction versus a TV analyst. Both are guesses.

But there is a difference between a wild guess and a educated guess. I understand what you are saying though, its all about how brings it on that day and then in game injuries are always a factor that can't be predicted.

It's all opinion. A guess is a guess.

I don't care if it's John Madden predicting a game, it all means squat, plain and simple. You can over/under analyze any team, any scheme, any player, any matchup yet at the end of the day you have a 50/50 chance of guessing the outcome. I don't get why ppl get worked up over their team not getting picked to win by idiots on the TV screen. Who cares what they say/predict?

I'm all for intelligent football guru's analyzing match-ups and hearing them analyze the game from their perspective because a lot of the times they have been there in the huddles and in the locker rooms. But when they get to the end of the segment and decide they have to predict the outcome, screw that, next channel.

Lets get back to the important thing, Brett Favre.

Bucky Brooks on NFL network picked us to win! I really don't care what the TV peeps say.....Most of the time they are wrong when picking our games. And, I still can't understand all the hate TV analysts have toward the Dolphins. It is almost sickening.

I see it like this, the Vikes are short at WR and Berrian seems like their best weapon and he was inconsistant last year. Favre has missed so much TC that he's still rusty, and being 41 doesn't help either. We handled him in NY and they had better WR's at the time if it wasn't for that lucky pass we would have won twice. The key is stopping the running game, and they have a tough D.

I think it could go either way, but you never know Miami might have their stuff together this game and they will definately open up the playbook a little more. Harvin being a game time decision is bitter sweet, if he doesn't play good for us, but bad for my fantasy team since I drafted him.

what have we really given them in the past 10 years to really think any diffrent?

Weeks one through three seem to be based on the previous season more than the meritts of this year.
you listen to the http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast dolphins vikings preview and they talk about the vikings making hte Fins one demensional.
Did they see what the Saints did in the second half running the ball ?
oh, btw I like Henne to [Bess,Marshall, Hartline] if the running game does get shut down.
