ESPN Fins Preview

KC Joyner keeps proving to me over and over that his cute little stats and "football science" prove absolutely nothing at all.

His stuff is worthless if you ask me.

first off he is wrong about Jason Allen starting, Tillman is our starting FS and he deserves to be. I love what he said about the o-line being so improved over the past season but he is way off base about Travis Daniels. he is definitely worthy of being a starter, he is physical and will become just like Surtain. once he gets comfortable in his abilities he will start playing WRs tighter and he will be very tough to beat

In all fairness TD is a step slow to be an upper echelon starting CB. He was plugged in last year because of the injury to Poole.
I believe that his position needs an updrade. I hope it's Goodman. When you play for a lousy team sometimes bad karma rubs off on you. He certainly has looked pretty good in preseason, so has Will Allen

the whole secoundary looks good and once we throw in our good pass rush it will make our defense look really good. Goodman has really impressed me and maybe for his speed Daniels is better suited to be our nickel back. he would be a very good nickel back

Thanks RoninFin4.

139 pts in the 4th last year! :dolphins:

No prob. Hard to believe we scored that many points in the 4th quarter. Hopefully we'll score that many in every quarter this year :D !

Or we could look at it this way, I hope we don't have to. :D

Our whole secondary looks good? Have you watched the preseason at all?

yes I have and the 1st string DBs didn't give up much at all. the guys who were cut like Shabuzz were the ones giving up stuff

Nick1 is right, our starters have looked pretty good, especially Andre Goodman. Although, they have the starting pass rushers to make them look better. As long as our Dline stays healthy, then our secondary will be fine.

Check out this photo of 6'3" 255 lb. Randy McMichael jumping over Carolina's Mike Minter in last week's game. Randy can jump like Chambers and Ronnie sometimes. He's a darn good athlete for someone his size. I think Randy may have a Pro Bowl year ... I hear Daunte likes to throw to tight ends. I bet he's excited about this season. :D
