ESPN giving love to our defense

ESPN Praises Our Defense: Great article! These guys know their stuff!
 
our defense is going to be elite.. we were top 6 last year after the new england game lol.. which means a year later, with an improved defense that is reaching their prime, we are going to be elite! we have one weakness on our defense, which really isnt even a weakness and thats free safety... other than that, we are probably the most talented defense in the league
 
I love when people get all giddy over BSPN "love" but when they "hate" they employ nothing but morons and talking heads. I already knew our defense was good, I don't give a **** if BSPN realizes it now or week 8.

Now maybe if they said something, I don't know, out of the box, I'd have a little more appreciation. For instance something like "Miami's offense looks to be improved despite making no move at QB." Now if they said that, and it turned out to be true, well then that would be a gutsy prediction and I'd commend them for it.

But they don't say things like that. They say the safe thing, and if it turns out they were wrong, they act like they predicted whatever is going on at the time anyway.
 
Well our offense doesn't deserve love unless they go out and prove it in a real game. The defense should get more, it seems to be.
 
Yeah, that article was nothing that we didn't already know. It was essentially 'Miami's front 7 is good, even though you haven't hear of most of these guys'. Wasn't really a hard hitting or analytical article. ESPN probably didn't pay the dude to write this since it was pro-Dolphins....so the article came out half baked.
 
I think that if we drafted earl thomas instead of odrick we would be bodering on "elite" but i think it will take some time to get that position figured out.
