These jokers get worse and worse..

They contrasted Herm's "You play to win the game" soundbyte against Saban's latest PC..

Here is my rebuttal.. Maybe if Hermy focused on the PROCESS like Saban does, he would win MORE GAMES! I am confident that when Saban finally installs his process-first mentality, in that Every player is responsible for one task, to beat the man in front of them on every Sunday, that Saban's team will be Perennial playoff team, while Herm is unemployed...

Wow. They are really trying to make a big deal out of this thing. I say we mail bomb them.

Right, because the jets werent a made field goal away from making it to the championship game lst year. Edwards has no clue what he is doing. (Sarscasm)

It was a perfect contrast, just because two coaches dont agree on the way to coach a team, doesnt mean that one has to be wrong. I am pissed that Saban would say that. I know that the phins are planning for the future, but i want to win, and try to win.

And Barry Switzer won a superbowl...so what? Does that make him better than Herm? negative...

What the hell does that have anything to do with anything? He said that Herm Edwards didnt know how to coach a team, obnviously that is wrong considering the success he has had.

Obviously, all his players werent focussed ont he process.. In fact, they should have lost to SD.. There was a CRITICAL mental error by a defender that allowed the Chargers to tie it up for OT.

That is laughable. You are blaming the head coach for a roughing the passer penalty? You really have your head up your a**.

I agree completely...shortsighted people can't understand what Saban is trying to do here. It all starts with with beating the man infront of you not what the other guy is doing or even what your team is doing per-se. Its about execution on a player by player basis..and when that is accomplished your team as a whole will be better. All those "analysts" on ESPN understand that but want to make somethig out of nothing because there is no T.O. news yesterday or today. When the news on him comes down tommorrow this will all go away.

What do you expect from ESPN? They aren't a news network, they are more like a reality TV network, trying to create story lines and sub plots.

They put words in people's mouths and then bash them when they agree with a statement THEY BELIEVE (see TO agreeing with Irvin that a healthy Farve would get the Eagles more wins this season).

They are a joke, and I dont watch their crap anymore.

????? huh, everyone wants to win and is trying to win... but how do you win? your players have to play hard every play... thats all hes saying, its not about the score its about how each player plays, executes and how they do they job, if they do it right they'll win, but win or lose each player will be evaluated on that, not on the final score of the game...

of course saban wants to win and the score matter... but it does'nt matter in evaluating each player and seeing what needs to be replaced and what doesnt...

It's perfectly relevant. Sometimes the sun shines on a dog's a$$...Herm's team had a lot of talent. We can see what happens to good coaches even when their teams are deprived of talent.

Good coaches don't always have winning seasons, and bad coaches can win superbowls.

Herm didn't inherit a team with a 4-12 record and look at their record this year, not better than the Fins.
Not having a good QB (Fins) is the same as loosing a good one (jets)
Saban is installing a new O and D and he needs to focus on execution of game plan.
The Fins when they had the talent 2001 2002 etc always choked, that is a fact and now it's time to bring in players that play every play like their job depends on it and I love that.
It is simple, if you execute your game plan that means you are imposing your will on the other team, if you do that then it is likely you'll win.
I feel that Saban will prevail.
