Myself and others would appreciate it.

Kiper has Thomas falling to Dallas, and McShay has the Jaguars getting him. I don't like either, but it's clear that Kiper is the bigger fool. If we draft D. Williams at 12, I will kill someone.

If you hear of someone killing someone over the Dolphins drafting D. Williams, it was me. ****ing bums.

No way we draft Williams. That lethargic blob only benched 27 reps. A 3-4 NT can be had in later rounds, considering it will take at least 2-3 years to develop one anyways. Nobody comes out of college ready to play a 2 gap NT. Kiper and McShay only study players, not schemes - and they are really clueless about this pick.

yeah, i wasn't as impressed as i thought i'd be with his combine, etc.. leaning more towards a WR or FS in the 1st and getting udofia late.

I dont want the Pats getting Brandon Graham,

I DONT want the pats getting him either, but i am betting they
are watching his staus like a hawk and hope he falls. i dont think
they still believe he will fall to them but if he gets past miami at #12
and is still around at 14-15, i think the pats make a move up and land
the FINEST 3-4 olb/de in the draft. maybe even the best deffensive
player PERIOD! [we shall see at seasons end]

if graham is there and the finz are interested, they should just take him because
i think there is just to hi of a risk someone like the pats move up and grab him.

he is going to be great in either scheme, 3-4 olb or 4-3 de. so there are much
more than just 3-4 teams looking at him. to big a risk.

i think its more than obvious now that the finz are serious about re building and
upgrading the safetys. we have no depth either. we need a starter that is a
ball hawk and someone who can be there WHEN yeremiah bell gets hurt. and
he will. we need 2-3 more safetys on this team because we just have NO
depth. and i dont want to hear ANY of the jason allen nonsense.

so, if the top two safetys [berry and thomas] are gone, we keep the #12
and go defense, BRANDON GRAHAM should be the pic.

if thomas is there it should be either thomas, graham or terrance cody. we need
safety, olb and nt. those are our 3 biggest needs on defense and those are the
best players at there positions.

now, if the finz go offense, then forget all that. this is a defensive scenerio.

Dan Williams sucks and is way overrated

DE17: i couldnt agree more. i dont know about "sucks", but, he isnt
a NT, hes a DT from a 4-3 scheme. we dont need him for anything.

22 reps on the bench at the combine is all he could do. there were wr's and
kickers who benched more than he did. that is dooms day for any chance
of a conversion to nfl NT where being strong as an ox is the top priority.

it just KILLS ME when i see guys refering to him as a NT or wanting to see
us take a project/conversion at #12 over all.

now THAT sucks!!!!

The good thing about this draft is the apparent depth there is across many positions. Players like Golden Tate, Terrence Cody, Brandon Spikes and so on are projected to go in the later rounds when they were all stellar college athletes. I think we shouldn't get too caught up on the first round too much and focus on those players that will drop and be within reach in the later rounds. If things go like they have in the past two drafts, we will draft some quality players deep into day two of the draft.
