I recently saw on ESPN's Sportscenter that they say 24-10 in the Dolphins-Jets game. Seriously, I think that with all the positive moves we have made this off season we are better than a blow out by the Jets. I understand that SC and ESPN in general don't like the Phins but seriously... we have the O-line and run game to stay in games now. We may not win it relying on our passing game being that for the most part, Penny can't throw a good deep ball to our Wr corps or lack there of.

Yeah i posted right after i saw the field pass of that a few days ago. I am so tired of seeing the "experts" breaking down the games TEE IT UP and lets get it going. the game is played by the players on the field so these guys can say anything they want.

I mean we all can say random stuff like those guys. SNORKEL!! see easy
 
I know you cannot base anything on how a team does in preseason, but I thought we looked really good, and I really feel this is going to be our day tomorrow at home. I think Pennington wants nothing more than to beat his old team, and I think he should know more about beating the Jet's defense than anyone, from going aganst them in practive for all these years. :up:
 
I'm actually quite convinced that the "experts" don't concern themselves with the worst teams in the league such as the Dolphins. They don't follow them, they don't look at the changes that have been made and how they've looked in the pre-season therefore they again expect them to be the worst team in the league, and really have no basis for that analysis. It's quite inaccurate. This game is winning 5 games MINIMUM.

I don't think you fully comprehended the original post.
Even last year, as bad as the team and coaching were, the team stayed in most games.
His issue is with the prediction that the Phins would get blown out, AT HOME by a team that went 4-12 last season.
What have the Jets proven THIS SEASON, other than the fact that the FO loves to spend the owners' money.
 
The ESPN "experts" were all predicting a 20+ point Superbowl victory for the Pats too. I'm not too concerned what they think. Favre has been their story for months now, if he starts the season out losing to the Phins, they will have to scramble for excuses.
 
ESPN NFL Live just spent 5 mins breaking down ONE pass by Farve and didnt even show a a Miami highlight. Ridiculous.
 
Just an example of how ignorant these tards are, the ESPN Fantasy "Guru" touts how great of a defense SD has and how favorable their matchup with Carolina is then slams Miami's defense and says how Favre is going to smoke us. OK, then the brainiacs predict Miami to get more points than SD! WTF????? They have Miami listed as one of their better defenses this week. MORONS! The point of this story is that the Bozos at ESPN should not be trusted for their predictions, analysis, or opinions; I find it much more pleasurable to watch ESPN muted and read the ticker.

Just in case you are wondering, I started the Miami Defense and got laughed at by most of my league. We will see who is laughing when the game ends!!!!
 
I just watched ESPN's NFL Matchups....what a piece of crap show! Not only did they just worship Favre, but even the other teams' analysis were trite and dumb. Blah!
 
The excuses will start flowing like water over NIAGRA FALLS after we put an butt whipping on those "NEW YORK CITY" boys!!!!!
