..I heard on ESPN that the Vikings will pick up Duante's 6 million dollar option and keep him.

This may be disturbing news to some but I could care less. Our future QB is not Culpepper..or Mcnair for that matter.

I agree. It would have been stupid to pick up Culpepper. I doubt his knee is going to fully recover. We would have had to give up too much for him as well.

That is good news and I'm sure it is best for Daunte. Now he can concentrate on rehabbing and getting back to playing football and we can get back to speculating about someone other than him. :)

I guess it would be stupid to pick-up a great player in the nfl!

might have been interesting to see Daunte play for us but its not gonna happen so move on and upward i say.

Good news in my opinion. Neither of them is in thier prime and Saban is clearly planning for the future.

His last raise was a lot more than 6 mill...He has not had the injuries that would prevent him from coming back (tho this has been his worse) Would love to have him, but the big salary would be near impossibe to match...Altho I think he would love to come back to Fl

Nah Jay Fiedler has a chronic shoulder injury and in our new offense we need a strong arm. But Amen to not getting a chris leak or joey harrington; we should all say a prayer that we don't get someone like that! I hear Peyton Manning wants to play in Miami!

And with that I breathe a sigh of relief. Now all I have to campaign against is the signing of Aaron Brooks in any capacity on this football team and then we'll be in the clear...
