So the situation is this: New England, still the so-called "team to beat" in the division, is beat up in the secondary -- again (see 2004). New York, the No. 1 contender for the division title, will start Brooks Bollinger at QB. Right now all he's got going for him is a cool name. Buffalo has a first-year starter at quarterback in J.P. Losman and just lost its best defensive player.

Injurywise, the Dolphins are in the best shape of anybody in this division, and at 2-1 and tied for first, Miami is in pretty good shape. Miami will get a boost from Ricky Williams' return Oct. 16, Zach Thomas is really taking to Nick Saban's defense and the Dolphins gained a measure of confidence from beating a good Carolina team. The way this division looks now, Miami could push for ... second.

Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa we are 4 real and even if Pennington were healthy and jills had TAkeo we would still finish 2nd Im no Homer!!! I saw the Fish play 3 games and there excellent

2nd's a*s!...We're pushing for 1st!...Bring on the Pats!...:helmet:

HOLY ****, some respect from ESPN. But yeah, I think we're legit contenders for the Division title at this point.

Speaking of respect did anyone see Monday Night Football were they had like some from the couch segment and I think it was Michelle Tafoya or whatever but im not sure.. she was taking shots at the Dolphins, anyone else see that

ESPN rides the waves. Whenever the next game we lose is, the next day ESPN will be bashing us. Don't worry about what they write.

I am not quite as high as everyone else here. I think we definitely will compete in every game we are in. However, we still have some big question marks before we are a real threat, IMO. Penalties and Secondary problems are the two biggest. We can win some games like we did Sunday, but lets face it... too many mistakes like that and odds are you don't win.

I understand the statement. We are still coming off of a 4-12 year. We have looked extremely tough in the first 3 games but we still have a lot to prove.

I am extremely excited for this year - but as non-Dolfans they have to see more than 3 games to believe as we do.

See I dont agree with this because its a new season, they shouldnt sit there and give us bad marks for last year.. until we start showing everyone we are the same team that we threw out there last year, we shouldnt still be treated like it this season..

We smashed Denver, we lost a tough game to the Jets, and then we beat what many people labeled super bowl contenders in Carolina..

EDIT: Just saw this up on the first page, "The interception was Schulters’ team-leading second of the season, giving the Dolphins at least two wins in their first three games for the 13th time in the last 14 seasons.

The one time it didnt happen was last years team, I just dont see why everyone always has to trash us because of one terrible season.. I guess its one of those things were teams are good for so long people just cant wait for them to be down.

it stille arly 2 -1 is a great stop but u have alot of games a head of u so worry aobut yalls next game not the divison title

Yeah, she was saying how she thought the fins wish had they cadillac instead of ronnie. Jaws was acting like it made him sick to talk about any of the fins success. Boneheads, all of em!

Problems in the secondary will lose us some games this year.

I would be very pleasantly surprised if we managed anything over 9-7

i dont consider this a compliment....basically they saying we will contend for second place just because the other teams injuries....geee thanks.
