ESPN or NFL NETWORK for the DRAFT

Being that I can't get NFL network, I guess I'll have to watch ESPN.

Go to NFL.com on Thursday night they stream the NFL Network draft coverage.

NFL Network on my computer, ESPN is not showing it on tv in the uk like it did last year.............

I used to watch NFLN live, and tape ESPN and watch it the day after.

NFLN blows ESPiN out of the water IMO. Haven't watched ESPiN's draft coverage in years.

NFL Network is better as the draft goes on because they actually continue to analyze the picks and don't ignore half of the players drafted.

I will give ESPN credit for one thing, they've stopped telling their commentators the pick right before they happened. While some picks obviously are not surprising, it's annoying when Berman and Kiper already know the pick and spoil it on tv.

I can't stand the pompous jackass either...but I am strangely drawn like a moth to the show...

Nope, NFL.com has already said that they wont be showing the players before they are drafted in the green room anymore.

While I was originally resistant to making the switch to the NFL Network's draft coverage years ago, I now can't imagine going back to ESPN's dog and pony show. With the NFL laying down the law that no draft coverage can preempt the announcement of the pick at the podium, Berman and his taxi driver are going to be SOL. The only, and I mean only, thing ESPN's coverage has going for it is the sometimes vicious back and forth between McShay and Count Kiperula. Seriously, does anyone else think Mel might be sporting a cape and turn into a bat at any minute, particularly when they go to him on remote shots leading up to draft day?
