Nothing new I know, but I woke up this morning and turned on my TV to only hear "and the Patriots were extremely unlucky". Referring to yesterdays loss to the Dolphins.

Like wtf? Did I miss something? Did the Dolphins not earn that W? The patriots had every chance to go ahead by 2 scores and yet Miami was the team to step it up in the 4th.

I think even if the Dolphins won the Super Bowl this year they wouldn't get any respect.

you know the whole "We should've beaten the Colts and Saints" argument? Well by all accounts we shouldn't have beaten the Pats, but we did. Don't get me wrong, I love the win and the team fought hard, but it took a 4th down stop and a Vontae INT to keep the game close.

As I've said in the chat room every week; sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. And yesterday, we were just as lucky as we were good.

We made the plays to win the game. We were trailing in the 4th qtr we made the plays to get down the field and score to win the game. The pats had a chance to do the same with a minute left and Wake slammed the door on em'.

So tell me again why we shouldn't have beaten the pats??

Every team needs some sort of luck to win, but to say the Patriots were extremely unlucky is a different thing. If Brady nails some throws game over they win. But he doesn't and he wasn't unlucky, he overthrew the receivers. He stupidly throws a pick in the endzone.

And we should have "beaten the saints and colts" but WE GOT OUTPLAYED IN THE END. We had the ball for so long against the Colts but we just got unlucky and lost??? NOOO we played horrible defense and let them walk all over us. The Saints game. We went up big in the first half and then decided after that last minute TD by NO in the 2nd quarter we would just not bring it in the second half. Were we unlucky for losing that game? NOOOOO we got outplayed in those remaining 30 minutes of football.

I don't get the logic there with games "we should have won". The dolphins stepped it up yesterday on defense in the second half. They made the necessary stops. I think your confusing a great effort on defense for the phins getting lucky.

We never get our due.....instead of saying the Dolphin's beat the Patriots, everyone is saying Miami upset the Patriots, or the Patriots lost it. Maybe when the Patsies got up 14-0 they thought it was over. I saw them laughing on the Pat's sideline in the first quarter. I guess they thought the game was over? Then Brady's lip was quivering after the game and he still didn't give us any credit.

Hahaha if his lip really was quivering I wish I saw that! A friend of mine is a Patriots fan and before they played the Saints he said it was a guarantee they would win out the season with only a slight possibility the Saints could beat them.

Yesterday after the game he says how he has one foot off the bandwagon.

I hate when ppl say its luck. Its luck...

There is only one part of the game that is luck..the coin flip...

Everything can pretty much be controlled...Except weather..

We made more plays than they did bottom line..We stopped them on 4th down..??? how is that luck???

If we did not stop them would it have been luck for them?

No..which is why we got our 4th down and short..we have better O line players..its a fact..not luck..

Players make plays..some times they dont... Its not luck...this is not 21 or poker...

I agree. we should've been beaten by the Pats, in the same respect as we should've beaten the Colts and the Saints. But we didn't and the Pats lost.

As cliche as it sounds. Our record is what it is.. and thats who we are.

No luck. We were supposed to lose the game sure. But on the field of play they got beat because they got outplayed.

You can't expect ESPN, the Patriot dick riders themselves to give Miami any credit, ever.

Saints got lucky yesterday, Indy has gotten lucky this year, the Bengals and Bills too from games I remember. You win games you looked bad in and you lose games you never should have (Redskins vs. Lions and Chiefs).

It happens

Most "experts" thought the Steelers would roll over the Raiders as well....but games aren't played on paper. You have to show up and play 60 minutes, or you can get beat by anyone. The Steelers have the Cleveland Browns on Thursday and PITT should win this, but if they don't come ready to play they could lose that one as well on a short week.

ESPN is always going to spin it in a way that gets them ratings. Talking about the Dolphins dosen't get them ratings therefore they aren't going to talk about us they are going to talk about Tom Brady who does get them some ratings.
