Tannehill was bad last season when he wore a leg brace. He played like **** for like three weeks until he took it off at halftime of the Seahawks game -- and he was a lot more effective in the 2nd half of that game than the first.

Good news on the injury front. Looks like RT's leg is good enough to practice, but the leg sleeve and talk of a brace is bothersome. He did not complete a throw last week after leaving briefly with the knee. Joe Flacco had issues last week too. Power comes from the legs when throwing a ball. This should be interesting.

On that subject.........I still don`t understand the logic of sending him back in the game, not knowing severity or possible aggravation of the injury
Game seemed lost to me. Maybe this was addressed and I missed it

I hope it means he was not hurt at all.

I strongly doubt it was that serious. From the looks of it, it was not. There definitely wasn't any hyper-extension or intense impact on one side or the other. I figured he'd be back in.

DAVIE – Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill (knee) and backup running back Daniel Thomas (ankle) appeared to be practicing full speed Friday during the portion of practice media is allowed to watch. That means the Dolphins should be as close to 100 percent health as possible for Sunday’s showdown against the New York Jets.
Tannehill, who sustained a left knee injury in last week’s 19-0 loss at Buffalo, wore a thigh-to-ankle protective sleeve on his left leg Friday. On Thursday he wore a sleeve that basically just covered his knee. But he seemed to have no issues stretching or moving.

'perfect attendance', huh? Principal Philbin must've been tickled. btw, erasers were cleaned, gum wrappers were picked up, towels were folded... and all cafeteria trays were stacked neatly away. Ring-a-ding-ding the recess bell.

Something has to be said about the Thursday off practice schedule. We haven't lost that many players throughout the year and our injury report really isn't riddled with probables, questionables, and doubtfuls like other teams.

However, I think some of the flat starts have to do with this dumb practice sked.

The reason Joe Philbin doesn't like gum wrappers on the floor is because they irritate his skin when he slithers across them.
