Really not too much to get surprised about, but it shows the numbers. IMO, looking at those numbers Tebucky, and D-Mac need to go. Madison's cap number isn't as bad as I thought...why exactly can't we keep him?

Just from these figures alone:

I keep James, and Zgonina. We lose more than we gain by cutting them.

Jones and Howard gone.

Madison and McIntosh should be offered minimum contracts to stay or get cut.

Seau and Frerotte should be offered a chance to restructure.

If we get the players to buy in (Seau and Madison will be hard pressed to get big contracts anyway), then we can reduce the salaries by more than 12 million here and still keep the core of these guys.

Brett Tessler prolly wouldnt agree to that for D-mac after we did the same thing last year...Currently there are few good LT on the market, he could easily get him a better deal somewhere else....

I really dont understand why we cut madison he only charges 3 mill and who would we replace with him. are secdary is weak so we keep him. we keep gus bcause he knows the system and is comin of 6 wins
