ESPN Power Rankings

​Obviously everyone has a right to their opinion but I don't see how losing Marshall (who will be missed, IMO) constitutes being "gutted".

When you only have 3 talented players on your team, losing 1/3rd of your team's talent constitutes being "gutted" IMO.
 
At the end of last season we climbed up the Power chart from the bottom to the middle closing 6 and 3 . Hired Philbin and Sherman. Lost Marshall . Same defense . Moore still the qb . Bush still here.. I'd put them around 19 one ahead of the Jets to start but oviously I still have some homer in me.
 
I dont think we are 28. I think we are better then 6-10. We should be around 20 in my opinion. We are in a tough division and maybe why power rankings are lower. We have not been gutted at all. We are more like stuck then gutted.

This is about right....Hello people we got the 8th pick this year for a reason..And even if you dont want to admit it or not Marshall is a hugh loss for now so dropping to there isnt far off the mark.
 
Team has been gutted? They traded Marshall...1 guy!

Everyone else is still in place. And we upgraded at RT with addition by subtraction.
 
I'll never understand why some people take power rankings seriously especially in March.
 
I would love to get angry about the ranking, but I have to be honest with myself - 28th is about right for us at the moment (and for the past few years).

I'm not sure that changing one O-Line coach who has never been a Head Coach for another O-Line coach who has never been a Head Coach is a big deal. We won 11 games but we also had the easily schedule in the NFL.
