ESPN Power Rankings

yeah this week was particularly bad. Seahawks fall two spots because they were taken to the wire by Miami on a cross country trip, so because of Miami's better than expected performance they drop seven spots? there is no logic in these at all.
 
LMAO at the rankings.

Dolphins lose by 2 on the road to the #1 ranked team and their rank DROPS from 21 to 28

Titans lose by 9 at home to the 12th ranked team and their rank RISES from 30 to 26

Falcons lose by 7 at home to the 24th ranked team and their rank RISES from 22 to 21
 
Obligatory: Power rankings are usually nonsense and ESPN power rankings are typically the worst of the bad bunch.

With that said, Arizona at #4? Are you kidding me? The Raiders at 10? My mind is kind of boggled by those two just because of how high they are. Washington being ranked above 25 is also ridiculous but I guess they're still down in the bottom half where nobody gives a crap, anyway.

However to ESPN's credit, they resisted the temptation to put the Rams at 32 after last night's abysmal showing. I actually think the Browns are indeed worse. The Browns defense is a disaster. Jamar Taylor starting at CB. Sad!
 
If it were a lot of other teams similar to us, they'd be touting how much that team showed guts holding the mighty Seattle Seahawks to 12 points and not giving up a TD to them until very late in the 4th IN Seattle. I do believe we played as the better team Sunday. Yet they have teams like the Jets, who gave up 180 yards to Green with the mighty Revis, at #15.... it's a joke.
 
The Seahawks were the top-ranked team in our Power Rankings, but a two-point victory at home over the Dolphins doesn't inspire confidence. Seattle could slip lower after a Week 2 matchup at Los Angeles. The Seahawks have lost three of their past four games against the Rams.

Of course its viewed as Seattle playing down to us. Winning cures this and will give us respect down the road. Until then the Dolphins will be viewed as last seasons result and current record.
 
Wow 28th. Lol harsh. ESPN has set back power rankings worse than the Rams set back football. They didn't get anything right now even the Rams who should be 32

These rankings are a joke. Denver at 8 is an insult, and the staff should be fired for that alone. Worse, ranking Houston ahead of them for beating the Bears. Get ****ed.

Also, ranking any team behind the Rams, aftet Week 1, is stupid. Packers jump 5 spots for beating the Jags. Brilliant!
