"Nick Saban is saying Gus Frerotte is still the starting QB ahead of Sage Rosenfels. To which we have just one question: Why?"

I guess they forgot all about the browns game? and that the bills have REally bad coaching....

I don't know...maybe they did remember the Browns game when Gus came in and didn't play any better. Was the Bills coaching bad when they led 23-3?

Yeah, im tired of the excuse of the "bad bills coaching"...its getting a little old, and so not true. How bad were at the half when we were getting kicked around by them. Sage made one mistake, and other than that, he looked pretty darn good to me. Its obvious that neither is our future, so its really a dead issue.

gus was injured...gus gives us the best chance to win and untill we are eliminated from contention he should start if healthy..and id say it was more our horrible play than their coaching that ****ed us early.

I think sage deserves to start this week after last sundays game.....he looked awesome back there

you say remember the browns game.......how about remembering all the crappy games that gus gave us....i can tell you its more than one...

Gus is a bust....plain and simple. Of course when the players play great....it's great coaching...when they play lousy...it's the lousy players. Geez.

The only reason the Dolphins won that game was because of Sage's play...and the team coming united around him. Great Heart and players pride won that game...and coaching had nothing to do with it.

OK Sage is agood backup but no starter, a back up is supposed to play well when the no. 1 guy goes down, thats what happened sunday and he did a great job, but hes no Franchise QB.

Neither is Gus....so what do the Dolphins have to lose?

I´m not supporting Gus, but the OL played awful when he was the QB, I think the OL coach did a nice job in the middle of the 3rd quarter... And Sage has a very good game...

the buff one the oline killed him and chambers' fumble didnt help. could gus have done the comeback? probably not..but as a starter gus is a more reliable option. sage is not the QB of the future there is not alot to gain by starting sage we know what he is he is a backup ..but gus gives us the best chance for a win and we still(no matter how little)have a chance at the playoffs .do we sacrafice games to see what our backup QB that will probably not be on the roster next year has? or do we play gus and try to win?

How unfair to post Sage's one start....and then try to compare it to Gus's 12 starts!! How about comparing at least the two games they played in....bet it's not that far off from each other....which makes Gus no better than a backup playing on his team.

Cleveland.....

Sage...10 att...5 cp..14 yds.

Gus.....18 att...4 cp...53 yds

Buffalo...

Sage.....37 att...22 cp....272 yds

Gus.....28 att....12 cp....115 yds.

Both played a starting role...both played a backup role....

Sage's total's are.....47 att...27 cp....286 yds

Gus's total's are.......46 att....16 cp....168 yds.
